Alton Mill Artist Wins Award at Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibition

July 10, 2011

Now in its 50th year, TOAE is the largest juried outdoor art exhibition in Canada. Featuring some 300 fine artists and craftspeople, TOAE attracts an estimated 100,000 visitors every year.

Julia Vandepolder was thrilled to learn that she was the winner of the Founding Chairman's Award. The $1,500 award was donated by Murray Koffler (founder of Shoppers Drug Mart) and judged by Greg Humeniuk and Anna Hudson. Award winners also receive a one-year subscription to Canadian Art Magazine and a website for one year. Most importantly is the recognition of winning one of the top awards from amongst so many peers.

Congratulations Julia!
