The Unapologetic Landscape

Take a Summer Tour of Canada without Leaving the Gallery!

The Unapologetic Landscape is a true Canadian exhibit opening July 9, 2013, Beaux-Arts Brampton, 70 Mains St N, Brampton, Ontario. The show creates a map of Canada, from our east coast to our west coast, Bonavista to Vancouver Island!

Three Award Winning Artists, Janet Simmons Sweet, Margi Taylor Self and Bonnie Eskelson, share their friendship and their common love of Canada with the viewer.

Janet Simmons Sweet starts the map to the backdrop of the Atlantic Ocean near Bonavista, in her signature artworks of dramatic light. She continues through the north coast of the Island in Twillingate, and ends on the west coast of Newfoundland in Gros Morne Park. Margi Taylor Self, a watercolour Artist, continues the journey through Ontario with local scenes in an abstract-edged presentation. Bonnie Eskelson, in her own unique style in oil, completes the map through magnificent mountains and ending on the beach of Vancouver Island, to the backdrop of the Pacific Ocean.

The exhibit runs through July 20, 2013, with Artists on site July 11, 13, and 17, 2013.
