Welcome New Mill Artists, Anne & Kay!
May 31, 2016
Born in Montreal, artist Anne Saint-Amour studied Fine Arts at Concordia University. She graduated with a BCom in Administration and Minor in Fine Arts. She then attended Sheridan college, studied design, photography, watercolor and art history. Anne currently works in acrylic & watercolor and her expressionist, abstracted paintings are strongly infulenced by nature.
Artist Kay MacGregor is an inspiration to all that come to visit her at the Alton Mill! She has lived in the Orangeville area for the last 40 years, raised 4 children, and operated her own successfull drapery business for the last 20 years. Her interest in art however began at a very early age as her mother was a very talented artist.
Over the years Kay still managed to study with many different artists developing her own personal, colourful and realistic style. Time for painting full time finally came in her 70th year while still volunteering at the local theatre. Now in her 80s, Kay continues to paint wonderful portraits, landscapes, wildlife, and welcomes commissions and custom orders.
Visit the Alton Mill to see the wonderful works of these two highly skilled artists!
