Furnishings and Equipment Rental
The Alton Mill has an inventory of tables, padded banquet chairs, folding plastic chairs and miscellaneous equipment available for rent. Our wedding packages typically include tables & chairs. For other functions, they are rented on an à la carte basis. Click for an inventory of what's available. If you require other furnishings or sound or staging equipment, the Alton Mill staff can assist you in arranging rentals and with co-ordination of delivery and setup.

Gallery Gemma offers a full range of unique jewelery including custom-designed engagement and wedding rings.
Fantasy Florals in studio 210 offers cake decorating, wedding accessories and flower arrangement services.
Creative Events Management in studio 205 offers corporate meeting management services both on and off-site.
Food & Beverage Services
For business meetings, workshops, and small scale private functions, our on-site Shaw’s Creek Café can provide a wide variety of fresh foods, ranging from fruit and veggie trays to sandwiches, soups, salads, homemade baked goods and beverages. Shaw’s Creek Café is operated by the acclaimed With the Grain Bakery/Café/Pantry in Guelph Ontario, and is well known for its fresh, local and organic fare. For larger events that include full catering services, we can recommend local caterers who we have seen in action serving functions at the Alton Mill. Or you can use your own caterer, subject to an extra charge for our staff to meet with them and familiarize them with our facilities.
Other Services
The Alton Mill event staff can recommend local photographers, deejays, rental companies and other service providers who we work with on a regular basis. Or you can contract with our professional event planners to arrange it all on your behalf. Our social events coordinator Laura Forbes, is the principal of Marvelle Events , a certified wedding consulting firm. Our corporate event coordinator, Margi Taylor, is the principal of Creative Events Management , a full-service conference and event management company.
