Enjoy a break from the seasonal hustle to spend an afternoon painting a classic motif of a pine cone nestled on the bough of a fir tree … because what says Christmas in Canada than the “ever green” image of fir trees and their bounty of cones.

Whether you opt for a realistic representation or a more interpretive approach your unique creation can be used to reproduce on holiday cards or to make small one-of-a-kind tags for all your seasonal gift giving, a delightful way to add a special home-made touch.

Beginners and advanced students alike will learn (or hone) various traditional watercolour techniques such as washes, wet-in-wet, glazing, dry brush and more. Materials will be supplied but experienced students are encouraged to bring their own paints & brushes.

COST:  $90 + HST per person
