Janet Simmons Sweet piece Accepted to "Order in Disorder" Juried Show

Janet Simmons Sweet is pleased to announce her work “Recede II, Holgate Glacier” has been accepted to the ‘Order in Disorder”, OSA 142nd Open Juried Exhibition.
Out of 319 images, the jurors selected 38 works in various media, including painting, photography, sculpture and mixed media. The “Recede” Collection, to debut in September 2015 at the Falls Gallery, Alton Mill Arts Centre, is a new direction for Janet. The works combine transparent, translucent and opaque layers allowing the works to be “backlit”, and are painted in a style pushing abstraction.
