Cuisine-Art
Beautiful food. Delicious Art!
Discover the region's best artisanal food, drink and creativity. Watch chefs in action; and artists in action! Mark your calendar for July 12-13 noon to 5:00 pm each day.
Throughout the Mill's studios and art galleries there will be food & beverage tasting stations, special art demonstrations and collaborative food-art activities.
The main stage, hosted by Ali Hassan of CBC's Laugh out Loud, has hourly chef demos. Then each day, watch our artists interpret a "black box" of local ingredients in their own media during "Recipe of an Artist", followed by the daily cook-off, where two dueling chefs will face off using the very same ingredients. Who will win the coveted "This Chef is Hot" Award? Pianist Lou Pinto will perform during "Recipie of an Artist" as the paint flies each day at 1pm.
Peruse the good things marketplace all weekend for local gourmet foods and crafts. New this year, is the Market Stage, with non-stop live music, including special guests the Moody Hues: Bob 'Omar' Tunnoch, Gary Taylor and friends.
