    Embrace enchantment with our exquisite stone courtyard – a harmonious blend of intimacy and open-air allure. Enclosed yet connected to nature, this captivating space is ideal for ceremonies, cocktails or dinners.

    Whether you choose the forest, stone walls or a hedge and historic home as the backdrop, the Annex Lawn is a favourite ceremony location.

    Millrace Room

    An intimate space featuring stone walls, wood beams and unique glass lenses in the floor. Located adjacent to the Turbine Room heritage exhibit and Tuscan-style Waterfall Courtyard – this is our primary event space and home to an incredible party!

    Turbine Room

    The Turbine Room heritage exhibit is complete with the original turbine system, power take-off shafts and coal boiler. This incredible, historic space is often used to house a bar for your guests to enjoy.

    Waterfall Courtyard

    A stunning, open-air stone courtyard adjacent to the Millrace Room is a beautiful space, suited to ceremonies, for guests to enjoy cocktails or perhaps a quiet refuge from the excitement of the celebration inside.

    Riverside Grove

    Nestled between Shaw’s Creek and the limestone walls of the Alton Mill, this lovely space can be used for intimate ceremonies or as the perfect spot for wedding photos.

    The stunning Pond Gallery is an event and exhibition space located on the upper level. Filled with natural light, incredible views of the Millpond, and a variety of art, this is a favourite place for many.

  • Raise a toast with your own favourite wine or craft beer — no corkage fees, and your special occasion permit is included

  • Celebrate with your favourite people until
    1:00 am

  • Pet-friendly — because they’re family too

  • Tables and chairs for the ceremony and reception

Catering by Gregory’s has catered over 500 weddings in their 25 years of business. With this experience, they have developed a range of wedding packages tailored to each couple's needs. Their Premium Wedding Package offers excellent value at a price you won't believe.

  • Sort of… The Alton Mill offers a venue fee rather than preset packages, so couples can create a day that feels like them. At this time, we are offering two primary packages, with Micro-Weddings coming soon.

  • Yes — we believe your dream team should be your choice. While we are proud to share our favourite vendors with you, you are welcome to choose one of them or someone else!

  • No. We’re an arts centre at our core, and are best suited for couples who enjoy flexibility and creative control.

  • During peak season, the Annex Courtyard accommodates up to 140 people for weddings. If you plan to exceed the 120 included guests, please note the additional cost of washroom trailers to protect the guest experience.

    Without the Annex Courtyard, the Millrace Room comfortably accommodates up to 60 people seated for dinner; some floor plans accommodate up to 100 people.
