“The Alton Millpond Hockey Tournament is the real Winter Classic”
Andrew Livingstone of the Caledon Enterprise, January 29, 2012

7 Games! Authentic 4 on 4 pond hockey format.

  • Caledon Mens' teams from Inglewood, Belfountain, Caledon Village and Alton compete for the Millpond Cup
  • Women's and Kids' exhibition games

The Alton Millpond Hockey tournament is a fundraiser in support of the Alton Millpond Rehabilitation Project, an environmental project to restore the historic three acre Alton Millpond. Starting in 2010, this community-based tournament has rapidly become a well-known and well-loved event.

At its core, this project is about hockey, community and environment. Hockey is a quintessential Canadian winter activity, and playing on an outdoor pond is about as great a hockey experience as one can get.

Puck drops at 8:30am. Official Opening Ceremony 12 noon. Join us on February 9, 2013 for an unforgettable day. For more information go to www.altonmillpondhockey.ca
