Art Battle is live, competitive painting. Painters create the best work they can in twenty minutes. As they work patrons move around the easels, closely watching the creative process take place! With only limited tools the artists must battle to create the winning piece! The victor in each round will be decided by the audience and all the pieces created during the course of the battles will be for sale at silent auction following the event.

Participants compete in one of three preliminary rounds at the Alton Mill Arts Centre, culminating in the the Headwaters Region Art Battle Championship! Check back soon for photos of the first two Headwaters Art Battle rounds held Dec. 6 and Feb. 7. The winners of the first two rounds were: the Alton Mill's own Lynda Clare Grant and Diana Hillman of Silver Creek Studios.

To compete, visit artbattle.ca/register/ to register for The Hills of Headwaters fiercest live painting competition!
