Headwaters Art Festival: Juried Show & Sale

This year Headwaters Arts celebrates the 20th Anniversary of the Headwaters Arts Festival! The centrepiece of the Festival is the annual Juried Show and Sale, which for the second year, takes over all the main floor galleries at the Alton Mill Arts Centre.

This prestigious juried show will run over 3 weeks and 4 weekends.

This year's panel of jurors selected works by over 80 artists from more than 300 submissions. The jurors are:

Gary Evans: Coordinator, Fine Arts, Museum & Gallery Studies at the School of Design and Visual Art, Georgian Collage 

Jenna Hiemstra: Curator/ Director of Programs, Craft Ontario 

Mary Reid: Director/ Curator of the Woodstock Art Gallery

Note from the Jurors: "The common character between all of the works selected is excellence demonstrated in both technique and content. The jury was particularly drawn to works that pushed the expected boundaries of disciplines and media. Overall, we felt that the final selection represents a wonderful range of media and materials, as well as compelling themes and subject matter."
