One of the most respected festivals in Ontario opens its doors once again as we celebrate our 20th year! The Festival features performances, book readings, workshops, open studio tours and other art events at multiple venues throughout the Headwaters Region. This year, the main event, the Juried Art Show & Sale returns to the award winning Alton Mill Arts Centre for three weeks.
Mark your calendars to see this and make it a day trip or stay overnight at one of our luxury resorts. While here, take the time to enjoy all that Headwaters has to offer from the magnificent fall colours, great local foods, wines, beers and ciders!
After the Gala Reception the Juried Show & Sale will continue to the end of the Festival.
This year our panel of jurors selected the works by over 80 artists from across Ontario from over 300 submissions. The jurors are:
Gary Evans: Coordinator, Fine Arts, Museum & Gallery Studies at the School of Design and Visual Art, Georgian Collage
Jenna Hiemstra: Curator/ Director of Programs, Craft Ontario
Mary Reid: Director/ Curator of the Woodstock Art Gallery
