Tarot Readings with CJ Shelton - Discover the World of Symbolism and the Language of Your Soul
Resident Mill artist CJ Shelton (Studio #206) works in the realm of the mystical and symbolic and her art is full of interesting “hidden” meanings and messages that speak to our subconscious mind. CJ also works with Tarot cards and other intriguing symbol-systems which can be a mirror to the soul and the key to our own inner wisdom.
Explore this fascinating realm with CJ on Saturday May 6 during the Alton Mill’s Spring Open House by experiencing a short introductory Tarot reading. Walk-ins accepted but if you would like to book a session in advance email cj.shelton@sympatico.ca. Readings are $30 for 15 minutes.
Rare Threads
For Sat 12-3 pm,:
1. Carol from Seeing Squared doing a garment weaving demo.
2. Dolores from The Olivar Corp offering a tasting of olive oils and vinegars
In honour of Celtic Full Moon goddesses The Olivar Corp invites you to taste a unique "Full Moon" line of olive oil cold extracted within one hour of harvest, during the week of October's full moon. Clean, fresh and vibrant flavours are complimented by the Full Moon premium vinegar - at fair prices. You will want to collect these beautiful bottles created via a world-first collaboration of architectural and fine arts: an architect-designed bottle enhanced with the art of one of Spain's most unique modern-day artists.
Complex lingering flavours await you to enjoy simply or in the most passionate and adventurous cooking!
Some of our other artisans are going to be here to meet and greet our visitors and talk about their creative process of their Collections.

I will be open from 10 to 4 both days, doing what I call charity tattoo badges. See photo attached below. These are small images that represent a charity. I donate 100% of revenue from these to the charity they represent. The cost is $120 each and participants must be at least 18 years old. I will be collecting for Nature Conservancy Canada, Ontario Turtle Conservation, CMHA, HopeHouse and Woodland Cultural Centre. I have already booked several of these for the weekend and have 2 slots left. People are welcome to come and watch if they are interested as well. For more information and booking please see my website www.toltectattoo.com.
