Where the Wild Things Are

The walls/displays are filled with an eclectic and unique selection of arts works by twenty-six bold and ultra-creative artists. The colourful and exploratory exhibit depicts the untamed side of the artist’s imagination, be it fantasy or real world images. The 40+ selected pieces include works in a variety of mediums: oil, watercolour and acrylic paintings, wood, textile, mixed media and photography.

“As a nature lover, I often take walks in the woods or sit quietly watching the creatures that happen to cross my property. It is the wild places and their inhabitants that compel me to try and capture in my art their simple moments as they go about their individual lives. It is a privilege when they let me in.” says Artist Kirk Szmon from Palgrave

Meet the artists at the official Opening Reception to be held on Saturday, June 1, 2024 from 1-3 pm at the Headwaters Gallery.
