Bring the whole family to this arts-rich weekend with true Canadian flavour. Enjoy skating on the Millpond, igloo building, ice sculptures, raku and blacksmith demonstrations, indoor art activities and workshops, stories, music and more! Cozy up by the fire with hot drinks and treats from Shaw’s Creek Café. 

At dusk, Brian Oates will create a spectacular fire sculpture featuring a circular ice lodge and symbolic tree of life. The light within the lodge will burn upward, igniting a seed of potential. The process is sure to be breathtaking.

Inside, enjoy one of the many workshops. Make your mark at Words of Fire with CJ Shelton, take part in a "Retro" fused glass workshop with Bridget Wilson or Give it a Whirl with Andrea Bird. 

Also featuring live music by singer, song writer Braden Phalen throughout the grounds

Hockey fans - catch the Millpond Hockey Classic as part of Fire & Ice. Come out and cheer on the teams as they compete for the Millpond cup. 

In the evening following the fire sculpture there will also be The Hot Stove and Ice Cube Lounges for hockey- and arts-lovers respectively. Grab a drink and unwind after a jam packed day at Fire and Ice. Tickets for these evening events cost $20 and are limited. Click the link to purchase in advance or hope there are still some available at the door!

Suggested voluntary admission donation for Fire & Ice and fire sculpture: $5 per person/ $15 per family. If you're there just for the Millpond Hockey Classic or to visit a studio/gallery, admission is free although a suggested donation to the millpond fund of $2 per person or $5 per family would be appreciated.
