Celebrate the summer with a refreshing day out at the 10th Annual Wine & Food Festival on Sunday, July 21 (12pm-5pm), which returns this summer with a timeless 'Gold and White' theme.

Located at the historic Alton Mill Arts Centre, a national award-winning heritage site in the picturesque Village of Alton, the Wine and Food Festival invites guests to sample food and drink (craft beer, cider, and wine) from the Headwaters Region and beyond, take-in live music, meet fine artists in their studio spaces, and view the work of artisans local to the area. Special festival highlights slated for this year’s event include a sustainable fashion show featuring the fairtrade and designer clothing of TresBello, Hildegarde Sausik, and Therma Kōta amongst others. Incredible local vendors this year include Adamo Estate Winery, Windrush Estate Winery, Barley Vine Rail Co., Moosehead Lager, Pommies Cider Co., Revival 1863, The Edge Restaurant and Bar, Lavender Blue Catering, and more. For the full list, click here.

Tickets for this year’s Wine and Food Festival are NOW AVAILABLE. $25 includes include the cost of admission, two food and beverage tickets, a reusable wine glass, access to contests and giveaways, and access to all festival vendors and artists.

The focus of this year’s event are two-fold; elevating the culinary and artistic experience for visitors at the popular summer event, while establishing a sustainable festival model for the community by creating new opportunities for collaboration and embracing eco-friendly festival practices.

The 2019 festival is produced by Collective Creations Events Management, a team of young event and marketing professionals based out of Orangeville, led by Mary-Margaret Courtney. Courtney emphasizes that the Wine and Food Festival in Alton is a “prime marketing experience for local vendors,” allowing them a unique opportunity and environment to interact directly with potential customers, and feature their best food and drink in a centralized location. Courtney elaborates that the goal of Collective Creations is to celebrate existing culinary and artistic excellence in the community, while sparking opportunities for synergy and collaboration.
