Passion. Romance. Violence. Vengeance. Despair. Love. Romeo and Juliet is a tale of warring families and star-crossed young lovers. Shakespeare's most thrilling and romantic play is a masterpiece of poetry and emotion, suitable for all ages.

Humber River Shakspeare Co. now in its 7th season of outdoor Summer touring, presents Shakespeare's beloved romantic tragedy Romeo and Juliet Friday July 18 in the Annex Courtyard.

With breathtaking love scenes, riotous comedy, thrilling fights and a most heartbreaking sacrifice of young life this play will inspire, and move audiences of all ages.

The event kicks off with the Arco Violoni Ensemble, a talented group of young musicians, under the direction of Zack Ebin.

Our very own Shaw's Creek Cafe will have a pre-show BBQ and cash bar. Menu includes Chicken Souvlaki, warm Mediterranean rice, and village Greek Salad (Cucumber, sweet bell peppers, tomato, olivesand feta). Dinner & music: 6pm Cost: $12.
