The annual Alton Millpond Hockey Classic is a fun, volunteer-run, community event that raises funds for the Millpond Rehabilitation project. You can register either a team or an individual to participate in the Classic, or volunteer your time to help with on-site logistics and operations.
The Hockey Classic takes place on Saturday, January 20th, 2018, from 8am-4:30pm, as part of the Fire and Ice Festival weekend. The Hot Stove Lounge, an indoor pub night featuring the Leafs and Sens battling it out on the big screen, takes place from 6-11pm in the Millrace room. Tickets for the Hot Stove Lounge are $25 each, available for purchase from Gourmandissimo Cafe in the Mill, or by emailing hockey@altonmill.ca.
