In addition to all of the amazing family events & activites planned for our annual Fire & Ice Winter Festival, we also have great artistsvendors and galleries who will be selling everything from homemade hot sauce to fine art paintings! This is a great opportunity to get to know our artists and support local creativity. Shops and galleries will be open all weekend. 

Falls Gallery: The wonderful paintings of talented Mill artist, Janet Simmons Sweet will be on display and available for purchase. Meet Janet, learn about her process and take home a lovely piece from her show White Magic

 

 

Gallery Gemma: Drop in and you will enjoy one-of-a-kind pieces of fine jewellery created in their on-site studio as well as award-winning jewellery from designers around the world. They offer an ever changing selection of jewellery as well as repairs, pearl re-stringing, jewellery restyling services and custom design.

 

 

 

Headwaters Arts Gallery: A fresh take on art awaits you! Join the Headwaters Arts Gallery as they welcome 18 of their newest members showcasing their artistic visions in the first show of 2017, Prelude. Shop for fine art in a variety of mediums and complete the look of your space. 

 

 

Made of Wood Gallery: Featuring a selection of works-in-wood by the entrants in the annual juried show, ranging from functional items to the strictly whimsical. You can find everything from exquisitely comfortable wood furniture to a delicately inlaid sculpture or a unique salad bowl! Also, especially for Fire & Ice weekend, Circa Candles will have their hand poured, beezwax candles for sale. Circa Candles replicate vintage bottles that are found, polished with love, and given a second life. 

 

Noodle Gallery: A wonderful space featuring a collection of art and fine craft from various local artists! Browse through Noodle for unique, whimsical and imaginative works of art. Shop for art prints, jewelry, furniture, paintings and much more. 

 

 

The Bartlett GalleryFeaturing Canadian contemporary and International art, including original works by some of Canada’s most exciting painters and multi-media artists. Works of art range from sculpture, drawings, paintings, collage and mixed media. 

 

 

Paul Morin Gallery: Featuring the works of artist Paul Morin - his mesmerizing landscapes and intensely thought provoking abstract paintings are an inspirational glimpse into the abstract of nature & the nature of abstract. To go along with intensity of Paul's paintings, for our Fire & Ice weekend only, purchase a bottle or two of wicked hot sauce from the Sauce Shack! They will have a booth set up in the gallery for you to sample some of their delicious hot sauce.  

Mill Artisans: Over the Fire & Ice weekend, all of our artists will be in their studios working away on their art and interacting with you! This is a great way to meet the artists behind the spectacular art throughout the Mill and ask them any questions you may have. Artists will have their original work on display in their studios and available for purchase - you can even inquire about getting a custom piece made especially for you! Works range from pottery, drawings and photography to encasutic, sculpture and paintings - all at affordable price points.
