Discover Your Senses!

It’s delicious. It’s decadent. It’s cutting-edge, (pun intended) and it’s entertaining. Like a lovely meal paired with the perfect beverage, the highly anticipated Wine & Food Festival at Alton Mill pairs 25 Mill artists, live entertainment, and local craft beverages with talented regional chefs. Beer, cider, wine & spirit companies add to the fun atmosphere creating a dynamic culinary and art tourism experience!

Whisking together fine food and fine art at our unique venue, the award-winning Wine & Food Festival takes place on July 21, 2018, from noon to 5 pm. Celebrating its ninth year, this festival is a must-do for all foodies!

The focus is on the world-class talent, in both fields, located right within our region. During the day guests (and their taste buds) will be entertained by our outdoor culinary competitions, led by the region’s top Chefs and restaurants. Visitors can make their way indoors to enjoy gourmet food tastings at stations throughout the Mill exquisitely prepared by local Chefs - in each studio find different styles of art as well as a different palate pleaser for your taste buds! Sprinkled around the grounds, visitors can discover wine, spirit and beer samples from partners in the region while shopping for locally crafted artwork, jewellery, artisan market creations, textiles and more! Let your creativity bubble over by taking part in art demos or do-it-yourself in a mini-workshop.

Experience the Mill’s charm and architectural reveals at every corner. Unwind and come to a simmer by listening to fantastic music! The Wine & Food Festival is about a taste of place, a sense of community, and great company. Marinate in the sun and enjoy local, Canadian & International artists, all day long.

Musical entertainment includes Shawn Kerr, Nicolas Mustapha, Hannah Chapplain, Rag Maple, Justin McDonald, Juliette Pomeroy, the Frank and Chanda Leahy Family, Brad Soucie, Graham Maycock, and Sean Pinchin. Visit Wine and Food Festival on Facebook to see the complete schedule of performers.

Create lasting memories, see the works of local artisans, sip on cool drinks and enjoy great food while raising funds for a wonderful project. We invite you to join us at the Mill for our most popular summer event! We look forward to seeing you!
